The World Series of Poker is Underway

pokerEvery year the World Series of Poker comes to Las Vegas and provides the city with extra entertainment it doesn’t always have. This is one of the largest poker tournaments in the world and lasts over a month. Many different events from high roller to anti-only no-limit, are held throughout the months of June and July.

Poker events range from a $1,000 buy-in all the way up to over a $100,000 buy-in. Whether you want to enter into one of the 62 events or you just want to be a spectator, this is one of the best events you’ll find in Las Vegas throughout the entire year for poker players. Of course, all the eyes will be on the no-limit main event, which starts on July 6th and runs through July 8th. The main event comes with a $10,000 buy-in and will pay out a huge cash prize to the winner.

A normal day at the tournament includes over 6,000 players sitting at tables and playing in different events, as they compete for gold bracelets. These include satellite events, deep stacked tournaments, cash games and more. Whatever you’re looking for as far as poker tournaments are concerned, you’ll find it here.

For some people, this is a bucket list item, while, others are professional poker players ready to pay their $10,000 entry-fee and win a huge pot of life-changing cash. This will be the 44th annual World Series of Poker event and will be spread across 480 poker tables, making it the largest ever.
