2014 End of Year Real Estate Market Data

Below is the year ending data for the Las Vegas area housing market. This is a summary of the entire metro area. The great news is that distressed home sales are way down showing that our housing marketing is getting back to normal. Prices are up year over year and so is inventory. As I have been saying, we really needed this additional inventory so buyers had a few more choices of homes when purchasing. Some people are worried that the number of sold homes went down by 8.8%, however this is just a reflection of the flip investors leaving the market. That number factored in the same home getting sold multiple times in the same year. Feel free to send me an email if you have any more direct questions on the market.
